My weaknesses seem to be keeping up motivation mainly. But i also find my weaknesses include confidence problems, which means i dont find it easy to do portraits, however over summer ive been trying to improve on this by doing portraits for people, mainly family portraits infront of a studio background, but its something i want to continue to improve as well as fill out the lack of portraits in my portpholio. But i also dont want to be limited to just portraits. Here are a few examples of the work i did over summer.
I also did a commition of location/achitecture shoot for an american professer doing a reaserch paper on one of my local towns and its history linked with the writer Charles Dickens and locations used in his book Edwin Drood. Which allowed me to play around with composition and lighting, expesh within the interior shots.
My idea for this project is to work on my creative approach, and to aim to achieve bigger and put in more to achieve something better then i thought i could achieve. ive been thinking of a theme to create my work around and looking back on what i did last year i think i want to do something that i can use personal influence on as well as being able to explore alot of aspects and i seemed to have focused and got excited about the idea of 'fears' exploring them, there effects on people and even delving into nightmares. I like it because it really opens up to alot of stuff i can explore with.
