Robert capa's falling man will forever be remembered for being a great, world renound faked image. Even now there are debates around the truth of whether or not capas image is real.
the image in question:
This is the man identified by his brother as Garcia and records indicate that a soldier with that name died at Cerro Muriano on 5 September 1936. Acording to the exhibition notes he was killed by a sniper bullet while on a training exercise being staged for the benefit of Capa’s cameras. There are several arcane arguments about when this image and others in the sequence were shot (morning or afternoon light?) but there are so many arguments for and against this image.
quarrels with the date and time of these images shot, as well as there being no present of blood, or the actual location of the image is said to be wrong for where it was reportedly taken, the images seem to cause more questions and not answer them.
